I believe that the single mind shift which will make a real difference in our lives is to realize that we don’t have to completely change and give up all of our little comforts right now. New year resolutions hardly ever help. A decision to completely change yourself in one day rarely works. Change has to be gradual – little baby steps, every single day … EVERY SINGLE DAY!
So what do you think is the best first step to improve your health painlessly?
I believe it can be as simple as setting your intention to drinking half of your body weight in water or committing to moving your body, either in my 17 minute workout (YES! only 17 minutes 3 days in a row then a break day) or walk for 30 minutes every day. The avocado facial masks are an amazing source of goodies for your skin. The fruit contains a lot of minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, sodium, copper, magnesium, etc. It also contains vitamins A, E, B and K. The result of that special cocktail is that the avocado face mask reaches the deepest layers of the epidermis and gives elasticity even to the driest skin.
Here are some homemade avocado facial masks which are good for any type of skin:
Avocado Face Mask:
1/2 soft avocado
2 tbl Lemon
1 ts honey
Preparation and Usage:
Mash the Avocado with a fork or in a mixer. Dissolve the honey into the water and add it to the fruit. Put it into your face, using your fingers or a special brush. Avoid the area of your eyes and mouth. Keep 10 minutes and wash away.
- Avocado: Filled with vitamins & moisturizing. Vitamin E, healthy fats and antioxidants can help keep your skin smooth.
- Lemon: Astringent & clarifying. Contains citric acid which might help to brighten the skin.
- Honey: Moisturizing & can also help brighten the skin. Honey has natural antibacterial & antimicrobial properties as well.
